Protection matched to the task
Prescription safety glasses are a complete safety product.
SafeStyle’s prescription range is certified to AS/NZS 1337.6:2012 for the models and lens configurations covered by its certification. We check the proposed frame and prescription against the available options and your stated workplace requirements.
SafeStyle does not allow prescription lenses to be retrofitted into its non-prescription frames. A prescription order needs the complete certified pair. Side shields must stay fitted as supplied.
Ordinary spectacles and contact lenses are not substitutes for appropriate safety eyewear. Safety glasses are also not suitable for every hazard: some tasks require goggles, a face shield or specialist protection. Follow your employer’s assessment and the product instructions, including compatibility with other protective equipment.
