How it works
Wear the lenses overnight. Remove them in the morning.
Ortho-K lenses are rigid gas-permeable contact lenses that temporarily change the shape of the cornea while you sleep.
1. Insert before bed
Clean lenses are placed on the eyes before sleep, following the handling instructions provided during fitting.
2. Wear them overnight
The custom lens design gently reshapes the front surface of the eye while you sleep.
3. Remove them in the morning
Many suitable patients then have clear vision through the day without glasses or daytime contact lenses.

Ortho-K carries a risk of eye infection, as all overnight contact-lens wear does. Careful cleaning, correct handling and regular reviews are essential. Remove the lenses and contact the practice promptly if you develop pain, marked redness, light sensitivity or sudden blurred vision.
