How LED PRO works
Selective filtering—not a dark night-driving tint.
LED PRO is designed as a clear everyday prescription lens. It has a subtle green hue and is usually paired with an anti-reflective coating.
According to Younger Optics’ LED PRO specifications, the lens selectively absorbs light around 450 nm and 590 nm. With an anti-reflective coating, it transmits nearly 90% of visible light and is classified as a Category 0 clear lens.
The aim is to reduce glare and visual fatigue while preserving useful light, natural colour and contrast.

Are LED PRO lenses the same as ordinary blue-light glasses?
LED PRO has a specific selective-absorption design developed by Younger Optics. Other lenses sold as blue-light glasses vary, so the name alone does not tell you how two products compare.
Are LED PRO lenses yellow or dark?
No. They are clear everyday lenses with a very subtle green hue. With an anti-reflective coating they appear virtually clear to other people, and the colour is not generally noticeable to the wearer.
Can LED PRO lenses include my prescription?
Yes. LED PRO is available in selected prescription lens designs, including suitable single-vision and progressive options. We will confirm availability for your prescription and frame.
Can LED PRO help with glare when driving at night?
LED PRO is designed to reduce glare and visual discomfort from LED headlights while preserving useful light and contrast. Individual results vary, and an eye examination is important because increased glare can have other causes.

Are LED PRO lenses sunglasses?
No. LED PRO is an everyday clear lens. For bright outdoor conditions, you may prefer prescription sunglasses. Do not use dark sunglasses for night driving.
Do I need an eye test first?
We recommend one if your prescription is out of date, your night vision has changed or glare has become more noticeable. If you already have a recent prescription, contact us and we can advise what is needed.
Can I put LED PRO lenses into my existing frames?
